Slow-Cooker Taco Hot Dish

Slow-Cooker Taco Hot Dish
2 1/2 lbs. ground beef, browned and drained
1 large onion, chopped
1 can cream chicken soup
1 can cream mushroom soup
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 jar extra hot taco sauce or mild
1 15oz. can of tomato sauce
1 can water (use the tomato sauce can to measure)
1 1/2 cups uncooked instant rice
1 bag of regular or nacho cheese flavored Doritos, crushed
Shredded cheese

Place everything in the slow cooker except for the cheese. Cook on low for 4 - 5 hours. Top with cheese about 45 minutes before serving. Serve with taco sauce, sour cream and chips.

You can make this the day before...a helpful meal for a busy day. Enjoy!

  1. Oh this looks and sounds yummy. My family loves Mexican food so we'll have to give this a try.
