God's household

1 Timothy 3   12 - 16

A deacon must be the husband of but one wife and must manage his children and his household well. Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus. Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.  Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great:

He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

  1. Amen! What a wonderful God and Savior we have! That is a pretty neat door. There is a trellis/archway? on pinterest made from two old doors and a lattice across the top....if wishes were horses beggars would ride, Mom always said...grin. Good thing my hubby is not too too handy, he'd get no rest, I'd have him building me stuff all the time. Happy Palm Sunday to you too, dear blogging buddy.

  2. Hmm it looks like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so
I guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips for novice blog writers? I'd definitely
    appreciate it.
