I'll Fly Away

Over the 4th of July weekend we Celebrated the Life of my grandma.
My sister had the idea of doing a balloon relase at the end our our ceremony.
It was a beautiful time.

We are walking out to the field to release our balloons. Each family member got one to release.

 Getting ready to release.

 I'll Fly Away

I'll fly away old glory
I'll fly away
When I die hallelujah by and by
I'll fly away

Some glad morning when this life is over,
I'll fly away
To a home on God's celestial shore,
I'll fly away

When the shadows of this life have gone,
I'll fly away
Like a bird from prison bars has flown
I'll fly away

Just a few more wary days and then,
I'll fly away
To a land where joys will never end,
I'll fly away

I love how my Aunt Sharon is waving good bye in this photo.

To every follower of the Lord,
there comes a time when they'll hear God say,
"Welcome Home!"
The sound of those two words at journey's end is something
every traveler longs to hear.
It means you're in a place
where you are fully embraced,
appreciated, and enjoyed.
Most of all, it means
you're in the presence
of those who'll love you forever.
