It is a Spring Fever Hodgepodge

Hello, it is a Spring Fever Hodgepodge.

Joyce asks the questions.
We answer the questions.

1. Share a favorite song, book, or movie title containing the word green?

Anne of Green Gables

2. Ralph Waldo Emerson is quoted as saying, 'Shallow men believe in luck. Strong men believe in cause and effect.' Would you agree? Are you a believer in luck?

I think it is kind of fun to see what baseball players do for luck.
I do not really believe in luck. Although I have said "Wow, you are lucky!" to a friend who seems to win every raffle in the country.

3. Spring water, Hot Springs, handspring, spring fling, spring break, spring fever, offspring...which 'spring' word best applies to something in your day, week, or life right now?

 Spring Fever
My boys are ready to get outside and play.
We have a lot of mud!
The yard is off limits for a few more weeks I hope only days.

 4. What's something you do to make yourself look or feel more confident?

Wearing my favorite clothes. I feel comfortable, happy and that just helps me feel confident.

 5.  It's National Celery Month...are you a fan? If so, what's a snack or dish you enjoy that calls for celery?

Yes, I love celery and so does my son, Atticus.
We love Ants on a Log!

 6. What's one thing you wish you'd learned sooner?

How important reading labels on food is. About four years ago I started to really understand all the junk in our food. I am still learning! Reading labels...I definitely wish I would have learned to do that sooner!

 7. Would you like to own a second home? If so where would you want that home to be?

I do not really want a second home. I am very happy at Home Sweet Home.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.

 Think Spring!
Have a blessed week!

  1. I would answer spring fever myself...although we have had a sore throat/ fever thing going around the house for two weeks now. I would like to get rid of that! ;)

  2. I agree about food labels. Since John was diagnosed diabetic a few years ago, I am shocked by "hidden" salt and sugar in most foods. I hope your yard dries up quickly and that you all can get out and enjoy spring!

  6. What a fun Q&A. What are the chances of finding my beloved Anne and celery sharing the same post?

  8. Although the snow is melting it still is snow boot weather for playing in the yard. It's so messy! I agree about your answer with food. Once you start reading labels, there's no turning back! It's gross to think of all the junk added to our food. Have a great rest of the week :)

  10. I do have Spring fever but winter is still holding us hostage. I love celery in soup, casseroles and stir fry or just raw..... I believe that when things lines up perfectly, it's luck....
It's Not Easy Being Green... I wish I had learned sooner that happiness is within, no need to look outside of myself for hapiness... I'm happy with my home and don't need another one.
    Hugs,
    JB

  11. I'm definitely thinking spring : ) We haven't hit 'mud' season yet, we've still got snow and in fact had flurries today. The sun is shining though, so that's promising.

  14. It's nice to get to know you a little better, Carla. I have always loved clothes and fashion, so I smiled at your 'clothes' answer. :~) And you make those weeds look beautiful. I thought they were flowers at first.

    Have a nice day.
