Funny on Tuesday

Celery raw develops the jaw
But celery stewed is more quietly chewed.

The above photos are of my celery patch in the garden last summer. We are having cold temperatures with snow, snow and more snow this week.
I have a bad case of gardening blues...think spring.

  1. I've had the urge to dig too but the snow has just gone and it's still too cold to dig. The tulips and daffodils are just starting to poke through the cold ground. Those things are hardy as nail. It will come soon enough and the hard work to keep up with the weed.
I started some seeds that needs an early start indoors. That's the easy part.

    Have a good tuesday.
    Hugs,
    JB

  10. I love fresh crisp celery. You must need cooler temps to grow it though. Strawberries are in season here right now! They are so good. Hugs, Diane

  14. Yes, I am reading on many blogs about your snow ...
Come over and have a look at my blue sky! LOL!

Celery is good eaten cold or braised in a casserole - yummy, especially if you can grow your own once the weather is ok

    Take care

    All the best Jan
