On Your Mark, Get Set, Go Into the New Year ....

My last walk of 2016. This is me and my walking buddy Molly, my Boston Terrier. She has been my walking buddy for 11 years! We go in all kinds of weather, she says we must. Molly wears a cute blue coat and it has a hood, so she looks so stylish walking on chilly days. She use to hate when we dressed her, but now she likes it, it may have something to do with all the people that say to her "You are so cute!".  As 2017 comes rolling in,  most of us look at the New Year to plan new goals, try new things and reach for dreams. My friend Julie from JulieLou wrote a fun New Year's post. I am going to share ... New Hopes .... New Dreams .... New Challenges .... New Experiences .... New Projects .... do you have some New ____ already in the works for 2017? Please share and I will be cheering you on in the New Year to reach that New _____.  I have a New Project that I will be starting and I will be sharing soon. Happy New Year! On Your Mark, Get Set, Let us Rock 2017!!

  2. I love the photo of you and sweet Molly! Looks a lot different from the walks I'm taking. I can't wait to read the 'fun' post. I need to use today to get excited about the start to a new year! So far, I've spent the morning cleaning. How exciting is that? heehee! Happy new year! Hugs, Diane

  3. A great way to kick in the new year, walking with your cute Boston Terrier.
My new project for 2017 is hooking a rug, using a lot of left over wool strips that we hookers call worms. It's a challenge that a group of rug hookers are joining in. Everyone is doing their own pattern and we plan to pass away some winter time hooking.

Happy new Year Carla. Thanks for being a great friend.
    Hugs,
    Julia

  6. Yes, let's all ROCK it!! I will give your friend a visit. For me, I always feel better if I have some kind of goal. And mine is to unclutter and get each room neat and straight! This involves buying many plastic keepers! So THEY now become the clutter, only more compacted! This is not an easy task, as we have lived here almost 40 years! I love Boston terriers!! I hope sometime you post a picture of Molly in her little coat. I can't imagine how cute she must be.

  8. You and Molly both keep each other healthy!

I like all your "new" ideas. I hope for lots of new experiences and to be less of a hermit when we move back to TN than I have been here in FL.

Best to you and Molly--and the guys,
    Dewena

  10. Happy New Year, Carla. I was here earlier but apparently I didn't leave a comment. As I was scrolling down I couldn't remember writing anything and then realized I probably got interrupted.

It is great to have a companion to walk with--keeps you motivated to go, doesn't it?

My NEW is this computer and I am determined to learn this NEW Windows 10 or kill someone in the process. lol

Hope you have a wonderful, blessed 2017! xo Diana
