On Your Mark, Get Set, Go into the New Year

On Your Mark, Get Set, Go into the New Year

What I have accomplished earlier this year and blogged about ...

New Challenges ~ Downsizing closets ... cleaned two closets and said good bye to some of the boys things from when they were wee ones.
Love -n- Sharing Summit ~ saying I would help put on a children's program and was put in charge.

New Experiences ~ Active Shooter Class

New Hope
Congratulations Mom .... I now am a Master Gardener.

New Hope ~ to complete the Wisconsin Master Gardener class.
I did it! I will be honest, heading back to school was not easy. I had to re-read a few chapters and watch a few on line courses over to retain the information.
I enjoyed my classmates. The night of the F3 tornado, I missed class. My classmates e mailed me asking if I was alright and if my neighborhood needed help.
Our instructors were great. They never made me feel dumb for not knowing something that seemed so obvious to them. They were very patient in helping all of us.

My boys made me the sign above and is still hanging in our dinning room. I just love how they drew flowers and the graduate in the center.

I will be sharing my New Project with you next week.

How about you?
New Projects?
New Experiences?
New Challenges?
New Dreams?
New Hopes?

Enjoy the Weekend!

  1. So proud of you! I think I'd be the same way heading back to school and I should do it! It's good for our brains to stretch them again!! I have some new challenges with my photography business and lots of new projects with that.

  4. This is a wonderful sign! I think even when you take it down, you should always keep it. Wow, you are a mover and a shaker! Well, I have the most excellent excuse! I had two different accidents, and sprained my foot in two different places. So I have been wearing an orthopedic shoe for quite awhile now. But we have made sure to take the grandkids fun places this summer, so I have hobbled around with them quite a bit. It is exhausting at our age, but we love it. Your blue curtains are so pretty! You REALLY know how to make the most of life!! Most people don't even get their first resolution done. You should be so proud!

  5. Congratulations to you Carla. I'm really proud of you. You keep challenging yourself and you are growing by leaps and bound. I'm sure the boys are proud of you and your husband and family too.

PS, my Lady Kim is starting to bloom. It's been raining today and will be raining this weekend. I;ll keep an eye on it to take a picture of it.
    Smiles & hugs,
