Honesty Jar

I have a Fresh Cut Flower stand during the summer months in the front of our home.
This past week I found the following in the Honesty Jar, along with $0.50.

Sorry I don't have much.
I didn't take a flower...
but really just wanted to take a minute to say,
they are beautiful!
and this is a really wonderful and trusting and unique creative plan.
Have a good day sorry 4 wasting your bags. Here is a quarter.
P.S. Nicely done yard.

  2. How wonderful!! You are spreading joy and beauty to all who pass. And I love everything about the gorgeous table: the tablecloth, containers, and flowers. I would want to buy the entire display, table and everything else!! Now, I wonder how much I would have had to leave for that?

  3. How nice. In New Zealand, especially in the rural areas, you see a lot of roadside stalls, selling produce or bags of horse manure with honesty jars/boxes

  5. Gotta love this!!! It's nice to read something pleasant. It might seem like something small, but in light of what's happening in Texas and later Louisiana....IDK It's just *nice* Thanks for sharing!

  6. I guess you wish she would stop back by so that you could give her a flower. What a nice compliment she left you....on all your bags! heehee! Hugs!

  7. This is so sweet! I love your flower stand and you have it fixed up so pretty. It must be fun, like having a little shop right there in the yard. I wanted to sell eggs that way...sit a cooler full at the end of the dirt path with an Honesty Jar...but the response from my husband!! Mel, you can't do that!! Somebody would take all the eggs and not leave any money! I don't think it would be that way. You are a very kind sweet person.

  8. So sweet to see the good in peeps hearts like this. With all the devastation going on right now it is good to have a small gesture like this come into focus. Have a wonderful week.

  15. That's so sweet. They have flower stands all over Maui and Big Island using your method. Not here, it's too hot, but maybe they do elsewhere too. xoxo Su
