3 Snows on a Robin's Back

I saw a Robin! I saw a Robin!
A Robin is the sign of Spring in Wisconsin.

or is it?

They say ..

It has to snow three times on the Robin's back before Spring has really Sprung!!

What Northwest Wisconsin still looks like.. not sure what that Robin is finding to eat.

  2. Oh my goodness! So happy for you. We've had a few robins already, but if they need three snows, they're out of luck!

  5. Lucky you to have seen a robin. We're expecting some more snow, and it very windy here today. The robins better wait for until the weather settles down. I never heard about it has to snow three times on the robin's back before spring comes.

  6. I always just love seeing the first robin! I even used to write the date on the calendar, and compare from one year to the next. I have never heard this saying.

  8. That is so exciting!! Even if the Robin needs 3 snows on it's back, it's still good to see them return!

  9. Good Morning Carla. I think Mother Nature has fooled us all even the Robin's. Let's hope we see some Spring temps soon and no more snow!!! Have a good week.
