~ TJ's ~ and more!

I know many of you shop at Trader Joe's.
For me it is a special treat when I get to stop into TJ's.
We do not have a TJ's close by, so it is a drive to visit TJ's but always worth it.
My blog friend Heather at Our Life In A Click does some fantastic reviews on TJ's products. It helps me out, because I know some of the items I am looking for.
Thank You, Heather!
Before Christmas we stopped at TJ's.
We also got to stop in after taking Sam to the MSP airport in early January.
We loved the Winter Wassail.
I use the Mascarpone for some very special cupcakes I make.

Yum!  Honey Graham Crackers! Thumbs Up!

 Atticus loves this water.

Some more favorites from TJ's.

What are some of your favorites?

Wisconsin Shout Out

Carmex is a Wisconsin company. They created a new lip butter using Wisconsin Cranberries!

Let me know if you find it at your local market.
We do not have it in our neck of Wisconsin. My cousin Kris lives in the Southern part of Wisconsin. She was the first of our family to find SuperCran Carmex.

My sister and brother in law own and operate a Wisconsin Cranberry Farm.

  1. I would love the cranberry lip gloss! I've never been to a TJs but I've heard it's a neat store. Enjoy your day!

  2. I don't think we have a Trader Joe in Canada and I've never been in one. I don't buy much prepackaged or processed ready to eat food. Most of my grocery is pretty basic and I cook most meals from scratch.
I hope that you have a great day Carla and that your little plants are still growing in your greenhouse.
    Hugs, Julia

  4. Unfortunately we do not have a TraderJoes near us,but when I'm visiting my mom in Arizona I go as often as I can. I LOVE their grocery bags, infact, that's all I use.
That lip balm looks delicious! I will have to watch for it in the market.

    Have a beautiful day ♡

  5. YES, I love posts about shopping! We are just like you, the Trader Joe's is a half hour away, over Afton Mountain. But most of our doctors are there, so we can get there at least once a month or so. Do you pick up the Frequent Flyer? I love just looking around. They also have gorgeous and unique greeting cards for a dollar. The items here that I have tried are the Candy Cane Jo-Jos and peppermint tea. I would love to try the chicken pizza! Would need to bring a cooler with us though. Did you know that they do not sell ice? BUT they keep bottles of frozen water, and will pack them in with your frozen things free of charge! You could take advantage of this big time! I am going to. Also, I have never been in a store where they are all so cheerful and helpful!

  7. Chicken potstickers! Then I buy a mix of julienne vegetables and cook them together. I also love their chocolate chocolate heart cookies. I should go see if they have them. I have only been once or twice since my daughter started school. I use to go once a week. xo Su

  12. We don't have a Trader Joe's either. There is one in Raleigh, so when when my daughters and I get together, if we meet in Raleigh, we go there. Sure wish there was one closer. We like the little bags of ginger chews (candy).

  14. I have not seen the Cranberry Carmex here yet. I do like Carmex products in general though.
Our closest Trader Joe's is in Milwaukee-2 hours from here. I do love their ginger cookies!! I like a lot of their stuff and John likes their tomato bisque.

Have a nice weekend and STAY WARM!!!! xoDiana

  15. I was thinking last night how I miss Trader Joes, I think it's been two years! We really need to take a road trip and go shopping!
I did not know that Carmex was a Wisconsin company, very interesting. I will watch for the SuperCran.

  16. Cranberry lip gloss, how fun! I'll be on the look out. And TJ's is close by but the lot is always so full, I just can't deal. I know everyone loves them, but I guess I've let the crowds diminish its appeal. Our local grocery stores have so many great organic and specialty items I just go there instead...and they have $3.00 tulips!

  17. The nearest TJs to us is 4 hours away in St. Louis. We went once, 8 years ago. However, my niece's husband works at TJ in southern California, so I periodically get care packages. I am particularly fond of the peanut-butter stuffed pretzels.
