Be your own Elf!

I recently read a post by Susan Branch. She shared some advice she received from her dad.
I wanted to share it with you during this Christmas season.

As you know, there is a lot of worry in the world these days ~ but you can help!
Do what my dad told me.
"Be an elf.
Wear a cute hat, a colorful sweater, smile at strangers, cheer people up."

You are your own best gift!

  1. I've noticed people that are walking the trails or riding bikes are especially friendly lately. I love that! It makes a hike even better! Happy December my friend!

  5. I love the idea of cheering people up. I can picture you as just that elf, with your big authentic smile of authentic caring.
We need more people like you.
    Happy Advent.

  9. Great advice! I was watching people in the store the other day and told Cliff that we need to spread a little joy while we are out and about!
