Was a real problem with my grass roots charity of knitted and crocheted items. The mail certainly is not what it used to be. The guy trump put in charge has really made things go down hill in a big way. It's actually the primary reason I stopped my grass roots charity after 13 years. I do not have any good mail stories but we always did have the nicest mail carriers. I got to know each of our mail carriers in our neighborhood we lived. Highlight of my day was to say hello to my mail carrier each day if I was home. I've found mail on the street near the mailbox, and I've received mail weeks after someone sent it. I haven't received bills (so I had to pay late charges), and one payment wasn't received on time...even though I mailed it two weeks in advance. Frustrating. I appreciate them very much, and the one I have up here now in the mountains does a wonderful job with our mail. Maybe that's why you love sending cards and letters as much as receiving them, cause your Grandma did her route for 40 years, and it's in your blood.
