Our 4th of July Adventures in Pictures

Hello Friends
We enjoyed a fun getaway to Ashland, Washburn and Bayfield, Wisconsin.

I am sharing just a few of the sights and tastes we enjoyed.

Wishing you all a great new week!

  1. Wow, what an adventure! I think my favorite is the wooden man with the pipe. But I love the Coast Guard ship too.

  2. Lovely shots! That church is delightful.

  3. I guess North was the way to go - we went to Amnicon Falls and Duluth for the fourth!
Your smoked trout pictures are making me hungry . . . ;)

  4. Smoked salmon AND smoked trout! WOW! How wonderful! It makes my mouth water to think about it! ENJOY!!! Love that coast guard boat and the old church buildings...beautiful photos!

  5. What a beautiful place! Love the troll in the last shot!

  6. You guys always take the best trips!!

  7. I love the picture of the carved man with the pipe also and the lake picture and the churches. It looks so peaceful on the water.
I love fresh salmon and trout but I'm not a fan of smoked fish of any kind. I'll eat it if I have to but I don't enjoy the taste. I just never developed the taste for it. We eat fresh salmon quite often but I haven't had a fresh trout in ages.
    Enjoy the summer days.
    Hugs, Julia

  8. Love the photos! Looks so pretty and I'm glad you guys had a great time! Love and hugs!

  9. Love the photos! Looks like a nice place to visit.

  10. Oh my gosh, Carla, that troll could give me nightmares! Haha! Pretty flowers, though. Trips like this one are so much fun. Glad you were able to get away. Thanks for sharing your trip. I enjoyed seeing the photos. Hugs, Nancy
