Yes..for sure everyone should read this true account of Louis Zamperini. I read it and so did our son....there are some interesting clips on youtube of Mr. Zamperini to enjoy. How one man could suffer so much...and survive can only be from God. I thought it was bad when he was on the raft....but it just got so much worse. It makes me have the utmost respect for POW's especially. Your post caught my eye....its nice to have read things in common. What a book!
