to the little beauties and graces
that make life magical and set aside time for gratitude each day ♥
♥ attending a Garden Expo with my husband
♥ getting creative and making a Log Succulent Planter
♥ snow and more snow.. spending time out doors skiing and snowshoeing
♥ Valentine treats from friends and family
♥ a phone call from my son who is stationed at Fort Gordon, Georgia
♥ sunshine making the snow sparkle like diamonds
So happy you enjoyed a call from your son! That is awesome!!! Hugs
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you were able to chat with your son! I know that meant the world to you!! That log succulent looks so pretty...going to showcase it and tell us how you did it??! :-) Love and hugs and happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteAww so sweet to get that call I bet! I love sparkly snow. We don't have any so I'll imagine yours. The garden expo must have been wonderful. I love succulents too!
ReplyDeleteA call from your son must have been so appreciated. Far away but always close to the heart.
ReplyDeleteYour little succulent garden looks promising. I started some Geranium seeds on the 13 and 4 have sprouted so I planted another 10 seeds today.
Have a great day.
Hugs, Julia
Your log planter is awesome! I have never seen one before.
ReplyDeleteLots of good things there Carla but I'm sure the phone call was the best.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's beautiful! Such good advice, too. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLove your joy list and your sweet succulent garden. I bet it was so great to hear Sam's voice on the other end of the phone. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
Hooray for the phone call! I love the log planter.
ReplyDeleteI bet that phonecall was the highlight of your week! I hope he's doing well! xo
ReplyDeleteI love succulents, and have made a little log succulent garden myself! They are so fun! So wonderful to talk to your son! I've been skyping with my daughter in Spain. It's hard to have them so far away, but thankful for the modes of communication we have! We can video chat, and that really makes it nice. Our dogs miss her too, and when Annie (the German Shepherd) hears her voice, she goes and hides, she really misses Danielle. I know you are so proud of your son. Enjoy the snow and all the snow activities, snow much fun! Blessings :)
ReplyDeleteYour list is beautiful in every way!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day ♡
Phone calls from the kids are the best!!
