Joy List Monday

Winter 2019 in my garden
 Joy List Monday
♥ a weekly ritual ♥
a reminder to stop and pay attention to the little beauties and graces that make life magical
and to set aside time for gratitude each day

♥ having my son say "Mom, it is too hot to sleep! I can not wait for it to be Winter."  For those of you that are new to The River, Winter is my favorite season.

♥ helping a friend move to a new home. Seeing the joy on their faces as they set up house in their forever home.

♥ going fishing with my youngest son, just the two of us. He wanting to help mom take her fish off.

♥ caring thoughts and love as I grief over the unexpected loss of a friend.

♥ humidity, heat and rain.. making everything grow lovely green!

  1. It's wonderful to enjoy each season as it comes! I'm finding more things to do now that I can't hike as much! Maybe I'll go fishing! I drew a trout this weekend! lol Hugs!

  6. My joy list today starts with a card from a friend - thank you for the sweet thought! My girls said I should frame the card with the bumble bee on it. :)
I've been seeing a lot of variegated mint lately - maybe it's a sign that I need some for my own? ;)
    Have a lovely week!

  8. It's always great to be thankful. And it's wonderful that your son still wants to go fishing with you. My favorite season is and always has been summer...in the Midwest. Spring and Fall are awesome. Winter's OK, but it's just a little too long for me here in Wisconsin. ;-)
