  2. Love your joy list. We are going to start to see some fall finally move in down here in Illinois. It has been summer holding on but things are going to hit normal temps this week. The trees then will begin to change colors. Love that so much. Have a great week. Hugs. Kris

  3. Oh Carla, my mom used to put apple butter on our buttered toast growing up. Thank you for that memory. I'm so glad you got to spend time with your sons over the weekend. That flower is so unusually pretty. Kind of looks like a peppermint stick. Love Love your "joy list" posts, Carla. It was a very good start to my week.

  6. Thanks for sharing your story today, Carla. I've never heard of ice fog before, sounds scary driving in it. I do believe you were looked after that day with that semi truck in front of you. I know what you mean, they go pretty slow, but I'd prefer to be behind them on the highway when cars are going so fast and tailgating. I'm thankful for their slow. ; )

  16. Lovely and timely. It's so warm here too ... ahem, a bit too warm but we must not complain. I just look forward to cooler temps and lower humidity, so that walking down the street is not so daunting, hahaha! Of course I'd be happier if the Brewers were not kicking my Cubbies in the hinderparts ... oh well! That's baseball! Hahahaha xoxo
