  2. Bob cooks for us 3 days a week. He is always trying new recipes. Some we like...others not so much. Your heating bill will be less since you insulated your attic now. We found some savings when we did ours years ago. We still have leaves on our flowering pear tree. Me thinks the snow that came last week froze them to the tree now. Its a weird sight to see them. You found some nice treasures. We dont have any thrift stores nearby. Hope you have a wonderful week my friend. Janice

  4. You can eat kale after it's been exposed to frost? That is something! And it tastes better? That is really cool (no pun intended!). Great thrift finds! Happy Monday!!

  8. Your dinners look so good! And the frost on the Zinnia looks so beautiful!! I did not know you can eat veggies if they have frost on them! The leaf shot is very pretty as well. When the trees are bare, I like that you can see their entire structure.

  10. What a lovely list, Carla!
The frosted kale is definitely my favorite — I love how something so simple becomes extra special with a touch of winter.
Thanks for the inspiration. Wishing you a week full of small, sweet joys. ♥

  11. You found some cute finds at the thrift store. It's always fun browsing through there. I'm glad to hear your big house project turned out well. What a pretty picture of the frost on the flower. And I love the photo of the golden leaves. Our trees are still lingering on, but we did get a big wind that blew many of the leaves off. Your meal looks delicious, Carla.

Have a happy November week, and thank you for these "joy list" posts. They really are delightful.

The leaves at this time of year are such wonderful colours ... there are still some on the trees here to fall.

    Enjoy the week ahead.

    All the best Jan

  18. That first purple color is breathtaking. I was recently deciding whether to invest in new carpet or pay for professional carpet cleaning. I chose to get my carpet cleaned, which was the right call. When I went to look at new carpet, there was a small, but bold, part of me that wanted to get carpet that was as purple as this flower you shared. Totally would have been a mistake, but it's a mistake I still kind of want to make.
