I love the looks of the store...anything log cabinish is all right by me! I bet the cheese is great!! I'm not sure what flavored cheese curds are, however. I'm not even too sure what cheese curds are! LOL. But it looks like you had a fun time!! Thanks for sharing the joy.
LOL Cheese Curds and Wisconsin yep doesn't get any better than that. When we come up to Wisconsin we always stop at the Cheese Castle for the best selection of cheese! Enjoy and Happy Friday. Hugs. Kris
Ooooo, cheese is the best. You can sprinkle it on so many dishes, or eat it plain with crackers. I've never had cheese curds before. It's wonderful that you got to visit your favorite cheese store, Carla. And a cute picture of the two of you to remember the day. : )
I love cheese so much and I always think of Wisconsin (and now you!) when I think of cheese. I've never had cheese curds! The word "curd" makes them sound unappealing but I think I'd probably like them :).
Oh, cheese heaven! Do you have a favorite type at North Country, or is it all too wonderful to choose? Those tomato basil curds sound delicious; did they disappear fast at home? I hope your weekend is filled with delectable treats and exciting adventures. I just shared a new travel post too, and you’re invited to peek: www.melodyjacob.com
I've never heard of flavoured cheese curds Carla. Are they a snack or do you use them in cooking?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great store. Tomato basil sounds delicious 😋

ReplyDeleteWe love cheese too! Whenever we get to the cheese shop North of us, we stock up on our favs too! Your store looks like an old cabin. Janice

ReplyDeleteAren't these local cheese shops fun? Maybe next time you go, you could get some stealth snaps inside...I never heard of flavored cheese curds!
ReplyDeleteCheese please! I've never heard of the flavored curds either, I'm assuming they were good?
ReplyDeleteWay to go! Enjoy the cheese and curbs. Have a nice weekend also.

I've never had cheese curds unless cottage cheese counts. 😏

ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't, in the old days they were thrown out to the chickens and crows to pick at.
DeleteSounds nice, but I'll just stick to good 'ol fashioned Velveeta.
