Joy List Monday

Joy List Monday

♥ a weekly ritual ♥

a reminder to stop and pay attention to the little beauties and graces that make life magical and to set aside time for gratitude each day

♥ winter thaw ~ we had beautiful temperatures this past week

♥ time out on the trails with Ernie ~ after weeks of extreme cold weather it feels great to get back outside

 ♥ sunshine and more sunshine

♥ creating a new snack ~ rice cake with peanut butter, sliced banana, sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar on top

 Episode #6 of 52sih

Our winter weather has been cold, cold, cold, making getting out for a good hike difficult. We enjoyed the start of a winter thaw with an evening hike.

Rockman's Woods Ski & Snowshoe Trail

We are blessed to have this lighted trail close to us. It makes for fun evening walks on warm winter nights.

A kiss as the sun starts to say goodnight.

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile.

 ♥

  1. That trail does look pretty all lit up. I´m glad your temperatures are on the rise. Our are as well. I thought you guys didn´t get much snow? I guess you did at some point, lol! I like your gratitude list. Have a great Monday!

  2. How wonderful to get back outside, I hope the snow is all gone soon. That rice cake snack does look good! That trail near you looks like such a great place for a walk and is so pretty too!

  3. Hi Ernie! He looks happy to be out for walks when it's not so cold. The higher temps really feel warm after the subzero ones we had. We've had some melting and I'm hoping for more this week. Slow and steady. We got more snow this morning but it is already melting. The lighted trail is so cool! I hope you had a good Valentine's Day with your honey!

  5. Hello sweet friend. I bet Ernie is enjoying the little bit of spring we are feeling of late. I will certainly take these spring breaks from winter. We might even hit 70 this week. That lighted trail is awesome. What a beautiful place to enjoy. Hugs. Kris

  7. Your rice cakes with peanut butter, banana, cinnamon and sugar sounds Yummy. Little Ernie looks so cute taking a walk with you. And I love that trail all lit up. I looked out my window this morning, and we had a light snow. I think more to come this week. It's nice that you are getting a little sunshine too. Your "joy list" posts always warm my heart and are a good start to my week, Carla.
