Help needed .. Corn Lily

My cousin recently made a bulb order for dahlia and gladiolus.
She received her order and a free bag of corn lily.

She knows nothing about corn lily, never heard of them. She came to  me for help, but I too, have never heard of corn lily.

Do any of you know about corn lily?
Easy to grow? Tips or tricks? Do you dig them up in the autumn?

Thank you for the help!

  1. Those are pretty. I never grew them either but they are not hardy in cold climate and the corms have to be dug up in the fall. They need a well drained soil.
You may get better information on the web. They can be grown inside until the weather is warm enough to put outside.

  6. I've heard of them, but I've never tried to grow them. Did the order come with instructions? I'm assuming, similar to Glads and Dahlias, that you would plant them, and then dig them up in the fall for re-planting next season?

  8. I've never heard of them either - where did she get them? Could she ask the company who sent them to her?
