Today we are on the road, we are going back to Madeline Island.
It is time to take a look at some of the life on the island.

After this young lady created her shirt, my sister and I made up some fun tie dye T - shirts.

I love that apple hat!
Yummy! Looking in to my Wapple.
My Tie Dye
My inspiration for the colors was from the Green Bay Packer Van.
Thank you for coming along today.
This wraps up my trip to Madeline Island. I would recommend a trip to the island. It is a relaxing island with many hiking trails, fun shops, great bakery and fun island folks.
Have a great weekend.
What a fun place to spend the day. I've always wanted to make a tie dyed shirt...or have one! After all these years you would think I would have tried..or tied...one! haha! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI love that apple hat and the tie-dyed T shirt too and that Wapple cone looks delicious. There are some creative vendors out there. Thanks for sharing your adventure on the island.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
JB
A cone lined with cheesecake?? Are you kidding me?? I would eat that all day long!!
ReplyDeleteNow that looks like fun! Would love to visit the Island.
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit! It looks like a beautiful trip! That bakery could easily motivate me :) Have a great weekend my friend! 💗
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun island. Love your shirt! Janice
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun day. I love tie dye.
ReplyDeleteHow far away from Nashville is that island? Probably too far to go for that waffle cone filled with cheesecake apples and caramel? You're killing me!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
Definitely looks like fun, Carla! And the Wapple sounds so yummy!
ReplyDeleteYum on those waffle cones. Madeline Island looks like something I should put on my bucket list to do.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun.
Kris
Oh I do love the look of that brilliant blue sky in your photo's.

Waffle cone quite yummy!
Tie Die shirt - yes, great colours!
Thank you for sharing your photo's - I enjoyed my outing with you!
Have a good weekend
All the best Jan
We have to go back to the Apostles. Our trip on a tour bus was fun but everything is rush here and there and no time for hiking trails which is always my favorite....:)
DeleteIt is a great place, isn't it! We really need to go back there. I missed the wapple. LOL I'd love to fly in on that Catalina (or whatever that plane with pontoons is). Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThat wapple looks delicious. I have never heard ofor seen anything like that before.
ReplyDeletewow, inside the Green Bay Packers van, that would be cool. Do you know that I love tie dye shirts? How fun that you made one for yourself. Carla, I was wondering.....your pics look a bit larger than ours. I notice that you have blogger, and when we make our posts we put it on the largest setting, which is extra large, but your pics seem a bit bigger. What setting do you use for your pics? Thanks Carla.

Your tee shirt turned out nice. Not too pyschedelic!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day trip! Everything about the day was remarkable, but I have to say that wapple cone might just have been the highlight :) Enjoyed your pictures of the adventure!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to visit.. Love the tee shirt...xo
ReplyDeleteThe tie dye shirt is cool. My spouse bought a ticket to the Cardinal's playoff. He was way up in the last row with Packard fans. He said they are friendly bunch. xoxo Su
ReplyDeleteI totally want to live on an island. I loved this post, Carla! That Green Bay Packer van is
ReplyDeleteaMAZing. I adore your tie dye t-shirt. Well done. Hugs, Nancy
