♥ a weekly reminder ♥
a reminder to stop and pay attention to the little beauties and graces
that make life magical and to set aside
time for gratitude each day
| Wisconsin Winter showing off.. look at that sky! |
♥ playing scrabble with my boys
♥ sitting by the fire reading a book
♥ candlelight dinner with my husband just for fun
♥ re - reading all the Christmas greetings, letters and photos
♥ snow and mild winter temperatures

The sky is gorgeous, such an intense blue! I love Scrabble! Do you play Scrabble or Words With Friends on Facebook?
ReplyDeleteLovely pic. We enjoy a game of scrabble but maybe not with one of our DILs - she is very competitive and knows lots of 2 letter scrabble approved words! lol I plan to go through my christmas cards at some point soon - keep some for making tags and then recycling the ones that can be recycled. Happy New Year Carla.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo! And how wonderful to enjoy what you have and where you live!! I've always tried to do that no matter where I lived....find things about it to love! Happy New year my friend! My rock is nestled in the seashell tray right now! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great joy list! Your snow looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love every one of these great doings on your Joy List. The snow looks so pretty against the dark winter sky. I agree sometimes you just have to look around your surroundings for just a moment in time and see something beautiful in nature or with someone near you. Happy New Week Carla.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
I love your joy-filled 5 Carla! Some very precious moments spent around the fire and playing Scrabble together! What a gorgeous photo you shared! It has been very mild here, and mostly cloudy. I am hoping we will get enough snow and crisp temps to be able to cross-country ski soon. Many blessings to you sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteI love reading over all of the Christmas greetings (preferably by the fire) ;) but the whole family knows never to play Scrabble with Grandma - there's no hope for anyone else! She knows all of the weird two-letter words (qi does NOT count as a word in my book!!!) One of my house rules is that you can't use a word unless you can use it (correctly!) in a sentence.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful photograph :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I love the photo! Wonderful list too! xoxo Su

ReplyDeleteIt all sounds so perfect. Love the photo! I haven't taken my cards down yet but I do enjoy looking at all of them again.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! A game of scrabble sounds so fun. We have started jigsaw puzzle season!
