  1. The sky is gorgeous, such an intense blue! I love Scrabble! Do you play Scrabble or Words With Friends on Facebook?

  2. Lovely pic. We enjoy a game of scrabble but maybe not with one of our DILs - she is very competitive and knows lots of 2 letter scrabble approved words! lol I plan to go through my christmas cards at some point soon - keep some for making tags and then recycling the ones that can be recycled. Happy New Year Carla.

  5. I love every one of these great doings on your Joy List. The snow looks so pretty against the dark winter sky. I agree sometimes you just have to look around your surroundings for just a moment in time and see something beautiful in nature or with someone near you. Happy New Week Carla.
    Hugs,
    Kris

  6. I love your joy-filled 5 Carla! Some very precious moments spent around the fire and playing Scrabble together! What a gorgeous photo you shared! It has been very mild here, and mostly cloudy. I am hoping we will get enough snow and crisp temps to be able to cross-country ski soon. Many blessings to you sweet friend!

  7. I love reading over all of the Christmas greetings (preferably by the fire) ;) but the whole family knows never to play Scrabble with Grandma - there's no hope for anyone else! She knows all of the weird two-letter words (qi does NOT count as a word in my book!!!) One of my house rules is that you can't use a word unless you can use it (correctly!) in a sentence.
