Pink and White Confetti and it is the Hodgepodge

It is time for the pink and white confetti. Our apple trees will soon start to drop pink and white confetti. It will dance in the wind and fill the ground with pink and white.

And it is time for the Hodgepodge.

Joyce asks the questions.

We answer the questions.

 1. What do you make more complicated than it needs to be?

I am going to answer what took me forever to do just the other day. I was adjusting my car seat. I went up and down, back and forth several times, I think I ended up in the same place I started.

2. What impresses you?

Honesty!!

 3. On a scale of 1-10 how picky of an eater are you?  (1=extremely and 10=not at all) If you had to eat a meal made entirely of one color what color would you choose?

I am a food snob nowadays because I want to know more about what I am eating. What is in it? Where was it grown? What has been sprayed on it. I read labels. I like to know where my meat comes from, I am really picky about that.

I would say I am a 3.

I will pick green. It would be a huge garden salad that came from our garden. I know what has been sprayed on it, NOTHING!!

 4. What does balance in life mean to you? Does your life currently feel 'balanced'?

I had to chuckle, because this has been an issue I have been writing about in my journal. I like to have routine in my days. I feel I get more done that way and I feel more 'balanced'. Not all days go as planned and soon I feel like I am 'spinning' like I felt last week.

 5. If you could travel the world for a year what would be your first destination?

It would be the UK!!

I have a love for the UK and I have blog buddies I would like to meet.

 6. Insert your own random thought here.

They do not last long, but we soak in the beauty while they are in bloom.

  1. Apple trees are in bloom here, too (we don't have any but I've seen them). So pretty! I enjoyed reading your answers and chuckled about your response to the first one. You probably did end up where you began, lol. I'll be able to eat some of the lettuce from our garden soon and can't wait! I'll bet your true, literal garden salads are amazing!

  2. Oh wow - those trees (their blooms) are spectacular! We have a friend - Farmer Brad - a young man who has an organic farm. I love buying his strawberries because I know there is no pesticide PLUS they taste wonderful!! I imagine your salad would taste wonderful, too!!

  3. The trees and their blooms are so pretty! You would love all the gardens and green space and growing things to be found in the UK. Visiting the beautiful gardens there was one of my favorite things. I hope you get there one day.

  4. Oh how I love when the crab apple trees let loose of their "confetti". It is so beautiful in the wind and also when it covers the ground. I am so happy you have those trees to see that beauty. I love the UK too and have bloggers that I would love to meet. Hugs. Kris

  5. I agree about having routines and getting more done. I hate when I get scatter-brained and bounce all over the place. Love the apple blossoms! Beautiful plus they smell good!

  7. Getting back to a routine is such a help with balance! I think that's why I always enjoyed Fall and the back to school days after carefree summers. Ha...chuckling about the adjustment on your seat. Okay lets meet up in the UK for our year long adventure!

  8. That's funny about your car seat. Yes, honesty is a must! I think it is nice that you are a good snob. I picked green too. Sorry about your spinning last week. Wishing you balance. I agree with the UK. The blossoms are beautiful.

You made me giggle about moving your car seat.
Right now, I am out of balance and spinning too because my routine is all out of whack. We just made it back to our summer home, and getting settled takes a long while. The gardens take much of my time because of the weeds. I wish the garden fairies would use their wand and make the weeds disappear!
The UK is quite charming especially their gardens. But if I have to choose I would have to say I have fallen in love with Spain. I have been there a few times and I love it more and more with each visit.
Have a blessed week my friend.
