A Gift from the Heart
♥
My birthday was back in December. I would like to share a very creative gift I received, from a very creative friend. 40 teas, with 40 quotes in a fun canister.
I love tea. I love quotes.
My friend attached a special quote to each tea.
♥
I thought this would make a fun Mother's Day gift idea. You could attach quotes, prayers or sweet thoughts on to candy bars, K-cups, seed packets, tea, so many fun ideas.
What are some of your favorite Mother's Day's gifts?
Wow...sweet friend and an awesome gift!!
ReplyDeleteVery cute idea~ super personal!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea for any occasion. How fun to read the quote every time yo make yourself a cup of herbal tea. I used to love a fresh bouquet of dandelion flowers from the kids when they were small. It was so very sweet.
ReplyDeleteOf course I receive big bouquets of flowers or plants for Mother's day but I never expect my kids to spend their hard earned money on expensive flowers. The gift of their presence or a phone call or Skype is more than enough.
Happy Wednesday Carla.
Hugs,
JB
What a neat idea. I love personal encouragement...and I really like tea
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome idea! I would even like it for myself. Maybe I'll print off some quotes. My family is not much for gift giving but I hope hubby and I will take a drive or a hike. Enjoy your week sweet friend. Hope things are moving along with your house! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift! We're not great gift givers here, but my favorite Mother's Day gift is fresh flowers. I love them!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a special idea and fun to make as well as give. I never had children, but the most special gift I can remember sharing with my late mother was the dachshund Harriet. Mother was 76 and had never owned a pet (she grew up in an orphanage). Mother and Harriet were the best of friends!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Trying to make out the Pooh quote...I may have to look it up!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesomely creative gift for a special lady!! She knows you well!
ReplyDeleteThat is a really great idea, Carla. My son did something similar for me for my birthday. I turned 60 and he wrote down 60 things that he loved about me as his Mom. I cried through all the slips. lol xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI think you have a very sweet and thoughtful friend. Thank you for the good idea.
ReplyDeleteI love this gift idea! How thoughtful!
ReplyDeleteOh Carla, I love this gift. It's unique, fun, and very special. I love tea and quotes too, and I think this would be a perfect gift for someone. Thanks for sharing this clever idea.
