Rocks and a special ♥ rock
As a mom of two boys, rocks have always been a special treasure.
When my boys were little, their pants pockets were always full of rocks.
I would always miss a few and find a rock in the washing machine.
Oh, is this your buried treasure? The light of your heart.

Another lucky ♥ shaped rock find. My son Sam found this rock a few years ago on a hike.
This week we will be starting our basement project.
Thank you for your prayers.

I love heart shape rocks too and I've found some too. I gave a special one to my granddaughter when she was little but I have no idea what she did with it when she moved.
ReplyDeleteRocks, sticks, bugs and frogs were always favorites of my grandsons too when they were little.
Have a great day.
Hugs,
JB
I love it and am still looking for a heart shaped one for me. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteI love the treasures you shared, Carla! That heart rock is so special! We've always enjoyed picking up special things like that when out on a hike, no matter where. And there's something about rocks! Have a wonderful week. Praying for family solidarity on the basement project. :-)
ReplyDeletePraying that the basement project goes smoothly. These are precious keepsakes. Hubby is always picking up little treasures when he works in the yard. Through the years, he has dug up little green plastic Army men; long forgotten Easter eggs someone hid, etc.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful treasure my friend.

Love the heart rock. So sweet about the rocks in the pockets.
ReplyDeleteI am always looking for cool rocks, shells, feathers etc when I am on the beach or in the bush. Maybe some people just don't grow out of it.
ReplyDeleteOh- How cute. Our grand girls are always down by the bay looking for heart shaped rocks. I just love how sweet that is. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful treasures. I've only found 1 heart shaped rock in all my years of beachcombing....what a great find! Your boys have sharp eyes for finding neat things. I hope things go well with the work this week. Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteWonderful goodies! I love searching for Petosky stones which is our state stone. Janice
ReplyDeleteThe heart shaped rocks are such a treasure!
ReplyDeleteExcellent finds! Especially the heart-shaped rock. And I enjoyed the way you arranged them in the first photo--very creative!
ReplyDeleteYea! The basement project is about to begin! I love rocks and anything from nature that is in the shape of a heart. So special.
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty collection of treasures from nature.
ReplyDeleteSweet treasures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful treasures indeed! You'll always have those special gifts and memories that accompany them! They are the best kinds because you are the only one who will ever have them. Good luck as the project begins, praying it goes smoothly! xo
ReplyDeleteFun treasures -- and memories.
