Hello, today is Friday. The day we take a trip.
Today we are heading to River Falls, Wisconsin to visit the library.
Astronaut Atticus |
This is one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.
Neil Armstrong
Astronaut Carla |
Astronaut Sam |
After looking at the food, we have decided not to become astronauts.
We all know the story about Laika the Cosmonaut Dog of the Soviet Union.
Did you know about the other animals that went up to space?
Our world at night.
We enjoyed our time visiting the NASA Exhibit. We learned several things we did not know about space and the race to space with the Soviet Union.
Our world at night is quite beautiful. Loved visiting the exhibit with you!

How lucky for you and the kids to get into an astronaut space suit. It looks enormous. The food doesn't look too appealing but I'm sure it's nutritious just the same. It sounds like a fun place to visit. Thanks for the chance to tag along in the comfort of my chair.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Hugs,
JB
What a great post Carla. Looks like a blast! If they let you pack your own lunches would you reconsider about being an astronaut?😁 Love the pics!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great exhibit - I think I would starve if I went to space.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend.
How neat and there are lots of astronauts in your family! teehee! I love exhibits like this and always learn new things. Happy weekend my friend! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun trip!! I think I would pass on those food options too :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, yeah, I have to agree with you on the food, Carla. Your photos in the astronaut suits are cute. It looks like you had a lot of fun. I'm always amazed to see our world from space. The photo at night is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post, I have to show my hubby that they got in the space suit! He is very interested in space and NASA. I remember when he came back from a business trip (before we were married) he visited Cape Canaveral and brought me a stuffed Enos in a space suit! I thought it was pretty interesting that they used to send animals up!
