Hello Friends,
If you have been following The River for the past few years, you know that I sell Fresh Cut Flowers during the Summer months in my front yard.
During the Winter months I did research and studied the idea of selling at a Farmer's Market.
I am excited to announce that The Little Garden That Could will be selling Fresh Cut Flowers at the Bruce Community Farmer's Market each Friday 2:00 - 6:00 June though October.
My first fresh arrangement for the 2016 garden season. |
This will be my first time selling my flowers at a Farmer's Market.
I have attended two meetings with the Bruce Community Farmer's Market team, each time I leave the meetings excited and filled with optimism.
Thank you for coming along with me on this adventure.
I appreciate all the support you have given me in comments.
I am a little nervous. I hope my garden season will be a good one. I hope my flowers will bring smiles and cheer. I will never know unless I try.
I am looking forward to this journey.
I know you're gonna do great at the farmer's market! How exciting!!!!!!!<----see how excited I am for you? :)

ReplyDeleteHi Carla, How fun! When we lived in Acworth, GA, I would attend a farmer's market each Friday...there were fresh flowers, fruit, baked goods, jams/jellies and even crafts. Will you use your flower stand from your yard or do they provide the display? I love your fresh arrangement..I think I see sedum and hosta..what is the purple flower? God bless you in your new adventure. xo

First of all, Carla, I HAVE THAT QUOTE, and waiting for just the right time to use it. This is great news! Selling your flowers at the local farmer's market is a wonderful idea. And this purple bunch is so pretty. I'm so happy for you, Carla.

I would definitely buy one of your beautiful bouquets !! So excited for you !! I've thought of doing the same here at our local Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8AM -12PM . I have an over abundance of roses and everlasting herbs and perennials. I give bouquets away all summer long , nothing wrong with making a little extra money to buy a ... new purse , maybe ?? Lol Good luck , you are a success. TT 💗💐💗
ReplyDeleteOh Carla! I'm so happy for your new adventure! I just LOVE your darling little booth, and your first 2016 bouquet is gorgeous! The Bruce market sounds simply delightful, and I just know you are going to FLY! :)
