I have been in the mood for soup, too! Beautiful photo. I love the fall colors. Have a blessed day, Carla.
ReplyDeleteAw, this is such a sweet post, and chicken and rice soups sounds so good!!! We have all this soupy tropical air down here right now......Mid 70's with the dew points in the mid 70s at 8:00 in the morning! But still, the soup sounds good!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy these posts!

RJ
I love your list. Enjoy your break...xo
ReplyDeleteDeep red Dahlia? It is gorgeous, I have never seen one this color! You are really making the most of fall, and have captured it's entire essence in this one post!!
ReplyDeleteI love a harvest soup as soon as the temperature cools down.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Julia
It definitely is soup time of year! Gorgeous picture of the flowers from your garden. How fun to spend such special times with your family taking them to your past! Have a blessed week and a restful time away from blogging, hugs!1
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a good week...away from your computer. I'm about ready for a break too! Love your joy list...it's so nice to be thankful for all things, big and small! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely Joy List, Carla. I really find a lot of joy reading what you write here...so I guess that would be on my joy-list.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a really blessed week- xo Diana
Your flower is so beautiful! I bet that soup was delicious!
ReplyDeleteTonight is the coldest night we have had so far. I'm sure a frost is not far off.
My teens listen to music from my husbands and my era - favourite bands include Green Day, Ramones,Guns n Roses - they don't really like anything modern. We are starting to get warmer temperatures now, spring blossoms everywhere.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful color for fall. I am now in the mood for soup too. Love to make soup and chili in the fall.
ReplyDeleteHave a great new week.
Kris
Hope you're enjoying your time in Madison. Sorry part of it has been rainy. We had soup on Monday, too--homemade Zuppa Toscana! Lovely Dahlia--yes, it's great to have flowers still blooming. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this list, especially the part about your boys and the music. I bet it was hysterical! I love that your flowers are still blooming there, that makes me smile. Our Zinnias are still vibrant and abundant too! PS - Having trouble commenting from my phone after the "update" but I'm here and I'm reading my friend! xo
ReplyDeleteA very joyful list, loved you and your husband dancing for your boys xx
ReplyDeleteThat flower shot is amazing!
ReplyDeleteCarla, I just your joy list. Thank you, some times I forget to count the simple things such as our summer flowers hanging on. :) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
