I saw a Robin! I saw a Robin!
A Robin is the sign of Spring in Wisconsin.
or is it?
They say ..
It has to snow three times on the Robin's back before Spring has really Sprung!!
What Northwest Wisconsin still looks like.. not sure what that Robin is finding to eat.
I got excited when I saw some robins too!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! So happy for you. We've had a few robins already, but if they need three snows, they're out of luck!
ReplyDeleteLovely robin shots! Still snowing here.
ReplyDeleteI hope Spring gets here soon!
ReplyDeleteLucky you to have seen a robin. We're expecting some more snow, and it very windy here today. The robins better wait for until the weather settles down. I never heard about it has to snow three times on the robin's back before spring comes.

I always just love seeing the first robin! I even used to write the date on the calendar, and compare from one year to the next. I have never heard this saying.
ReplyDeleteWell, we have a few robins around here and it has snowed three times in the last two weeks! Maybe that means spring is on its way!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so exciting!! Even if the Robin needs 3 snows on it's back, it's still good to see them return!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Carla. I think Mother Nature has fooled us all even the Robin's. Let's hope we see some Spring temps soon and no more snow!!! Have a good week.
