Goodbye July

As we prepare to flip the calendar, I will share that my photo was published in the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation calendar. My photo was awarded to be the month of July 2018.

August will be here tomorrow. My favorite month of the year.

Hot July brings picnic joys, Firecrackers for girls and boys.
In August swallows southward fly, summer's waning, fall is nigh

  2. Congratulations on getting your beautiful photo published in the Wildlife Federation calendar. That calendar is a keeper or you could frame that picture. We had our farm featured in a calendar some years ago and we didn't even knew about it until someone gave us a calendar. We were quite surprised.

I can believe today is the last day in July. The year is going by too fast for me. I hope that you enjoy the last day of July.
    Hugs, Julia

  3. A beautiful photo Carla! How wonderful it’s featured as it deserves. And I’m sad to see July go, but August is still hot, hot, hot here, so I’m ok with its arrival! 😉

  6. Lovely photo. I had one of my photos appear in our community calendar - I was June. How has your garden been growing this summer?

  7. Congratulations on the beautiful photo in the calendar! As you know, Trilliums are a personal favorite (although I don't really have favorite plants ;-) ). I'm trying to live in the moment, so I'm switching channels and ignoring people when they say things like, "summer is passing fast" or "time for back-to-school shopping" etc. Holy cats, it's only the end of July! Plus, every day is a blessing in itself!

  9. Congratulations!! It's beautiful! I have never heard anyone but you say that August is their favorite month. That is so neat. August and February are my least favorite months. But, I appreciate every month and thankful to be here to enjoy them. August in NC is the most hot and humid, and too miserable to be outside. Once July 4th is past I look forward to fall. :)
