Girl, I love U2!!! One of my favorite movies is The Breakfast Club...but I love 99% of all black/white movies...especially Film Noir! We binge on all kinds of things on Netflix...most recently Godless, but I-Zombie is one of our favs also. I love To Kill A Mockingbird...well-written, characters are so developed...you can put yourself in their shoes. Another great book...11/22/63. Books I have read multiple times...Mitford and Father Tim...I LOVE those books! Love and hugs!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday. Oh I will go to the Ed Sheeran concert with you. I love the Crown too and Grantchester series too. I have read To Kill a Mockingbird several times too. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
My ultimate concert would be either: The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac or Elton John.
ReplyDeleteI still haven't read To Kill a Mockingbird - maybe that should be on my reading list for this year.
I bet I would like Grantchester. We love all those PBS shows! You've got mail WAS good!
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely younger than me! Hahaha! I also love To Kill a Mockingbird. I've watched the movie more times than I've read the book though. Fun post!
ReplyDeleteI always had my nose down to the grind so it makes me a dull girl. I've never been to a concert with famous people. I kind of stay away from big crowds but it's nice to read that others love to go to concerts. I love listening to FleetWood Max. My daughter gave me a CD album which I still love to listen to.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Julia
I also think everyone should read To Kill a Mockingbird, and I recently reread it. I even wondered if that is where you found your son's name! So funny! I think my first concert was U2 also! That is what I was going to answer because in fact, I can't think of any other rock bands that I went to see. My favorite groups are Journey and Fleetwood Mac. xo Su
ReplyDeleteWe are such soul sisters.....I love To Kill a Mockingbird (of course) I'm from Alabama...hello! AND I love You've Got Mail, one of my favorites. I love Meg Ryan's apartment in the movie... honestly, I'm almost obsessed! And it has stood the test of time, too. LOVE U2!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love TKAMB - read it multiple times, listened to it on a long drive and saw the play.
ReplyDeleteI think I need to re-read TGLAPPPS again before I watach the movie.
It's going to be an indoor weekend, so I am going to look into The Crown. I do not know that show. And... I have not seen You've Got Mail in years. Must watch again!
ReplyDeleteI think I have read To Kill A Mockingbird at least three (maybe 4) times in my life. My granddaughter is just reading it as required reading in her class. I love that!!! Also, along that line was A Tree Grows In Brooklyn and I think I like that almost as much as the other one. I pushed my kids until everyone read both of them...and they loved both of them. lol
ReplyDeleteMy hubby loves You've Got Mail--even if it is kind of a chick flick.
Have a wonderful night, Carla! xo Diana
We have lots in common Carla. Have read both the books and seen the film and would love to see Ed Sheeran and I watch those TV shows! Good choices.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed reading your answers. I still have CD's too. I play them in the house and in my car. Great movie choice!
ReplyDeleteI have read To Kill a Mockingbird several times, it is such a timeless beautiful classic! I think my favorite movie has to be Anne of Green Gables with Megan Follows, and next up would be Pride and Prejudice. Always fun to hear what others like to read and watch :) Blessings and hugs!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed reading your post.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read To Kill a Mockingbird, maybe I will add it to my ever growing list of books to read.
Hope your week is going well.
All the best Jan
A great list!
