Book Across the Bay
2020
We did it again.
We went to an amazing concert on the Bay.
The below video and link shares all about the band.
I am amazed by the harmonica. This band has one top harmonica player.
Saturday morning we went on an explore to Superior Falls.
Saturday night we crossed the bay by candle light.
Along the way we spotted a fire breathing dragon.
Sunday morning we did a little more exploring.
We hiked to Lost Creek Falls.
Loved these tracks in the snow. Just looking at them makes me think there is a story here. Are these tracks of a little mouse? Did he travel to town going the one way and to his friends the other?
Maybe I will make a story up about these cute tracks.
That is me in the pink.
It was a special Valentine's Weekend.
What an amazing adventure! It must have been really cold, though. You must be extremely fit!!
ReplyDeleteAwww I see you peeking out there. Glad you had a great trip. I think I remember you doing this trip last year with the candle lights. Have a wonderful rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
It looks awfully cold, but such a beautiful place. Does Superior Falls freeze? It looks frozen. I wonder too what made those tracks in the snow. Now I picture a little visiting mouse. Hope you do write a story. That would be so cute.
ReplyDeleteLooks an amazing thing to do and yes you must be fit!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so glad it was cold enough this year for them to hold the event! How fun! And I love your cute jacket!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful for you to be able to participate in this event! Did you ski, or snowshoe? or both? Were you able to see the northern lights while you were there?
ReplyDeleteI'm from Michigan. xo
I'm cold just reading this post, but I do enjoy reading about your Northern adventures. Super cool photos! :D
ReplyDeleteWhat fun, Carla. My son-in-law is from Ashland and he and my daughter go up there quite often. His dad was a preacher there when my SIL was a kid; died on his way to Easter Sunday service. They then moved to Green Bay and his mom remarried several years later. He still loves Ashland and we love that trip there, too. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteOh Dear. What fun . Carla! It is now on my list to see!!!! I don't think we've been to Ashland! Hubby and son both play the mouth harp!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great time although it must have been pretty darn cold!!!
ReplyDeleteThat really is awesome! What an adventure! Looks like you had ideal weather for the event! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYou have the most fun adventures!
