Soaking in Spring

 Soaking in Spring

My husband and I  recently went for a spring hike in the Blue Hills of Rusk County.

It was a cool, crisp, windy spring day.

Enjoy the photos that my husband took of some of the beauty we enjoyed.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods. There a rapture on the lonely shore. There is society where none intrudes. By the deep sea, a music in its roar: I love not man the less, but nature more.

George Gordon Byron

  3. Wow with the crazy weather we are having I am glad your hubby found some sweet little flowers trying to come back to life. I am so over this weather. We have a frost alert tonight. WHAT?!!! It is almost May. Have a good rest of the week. xoxo Kris

  4. The beauty of nature is all around us. We just have to really see it. Beautiful flowers...but not a fan of snakes, even the non poisonous ones. Janice

  5. Great pictures and I love Byron. My father loved his poetry so I grew up listening to him read all the old greats. He adored Robert Service, too. xo Diana

  6. Sounds like a lovely hike you went on with your husband, Carla. He took some wonderful photos of the wildflowers in your area. And that looks like a creek at the end. Water is always calming to be around. Isn't that rock interesting? It looks painted, and so pretty. Thanks for sharing your walk with us, Carla. Nature makes me smile every time. : )

  9. So pretty! It's been so wet, I haven't ventured out much to see what we have blooming. Hopefully I'll be out there soon!
