A joyful heart is good medicine.
Proverbs 17:22
The ability to get a laugh out of everyday situations is a safety valve. It rids us of tensions and worries that could otherwise damage our health.
What is it that brings healing to the emotions, healing to the soul?
A joyful heart!
I am so thankful for the friends in my life, who make me laugh! Currently there is so much going on that is totally out of control. As a family, we take one day at a time and continue on doing our best.. with the help of a joyful heart.. we have to keep laughing.

Life can be so much better if we can laugh at mishaps, even at ourselves! I hope you can continue to laugh, and that things turn out well for you.

This is the greatest advice. Take it one day at a time. Seeing the positive during hard and sad times helps too. Have a good week sweet friend. xoxo Kris

ReplyDeleteLaughter is definitely good medicine :)
ReplyDeleteLove this, Carla. We can't control what's happening, so we rest in the assurance that God is in control, and we choose to live with a joyful attitude no matter what. Stay well and joyful, my friend. ♥
ReplyDeleteSo true. I love to laugh and I seem to have the ability to make others laugh. My daughter Stephanie told me that her husband, our Joel, was reading a recent string of texts between me and my girls and TG about a particular event/incident in our family. She said Joel nearly fell off the bed laughing uproariously, crying real tears of mirth, at one of my snappy rejoinders. I'd say my work is done here, haaahaha xoxo
