Joy List Monday
♥ a weekly ritual ♥
a reminder to stop and pay attention to the little beauties and graces that make life magical and to set aside time for gratitude each day
Millions and millions of maple seeds fell this spring, I am still finding them and pulling them up. It is weird I know to put this on my joy list.. but here is why..
that little maple seedling
♥ is determined
♥ shows me the power of nature.. that little seed will find a way to sprout.. reminding me that I too just need to keep on trying
I will not blow this photo up.. gross enough.. why on my joy list?
♥ it is healing
I had a terrible reaction to a bug bite.
HELP... we are in a traffic jam and we are on the way to a special wedding.
Why on the joy list?
♥ we made it
My garden is doing so well this season.
And you know the answer to this one, why on my joy list?
♥ she loves her garden
♥ Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile.
♥
Carla
I love all of your silver linings that bring you joy! What a good perspective. :)
ReplyDeleteGood Morning. Hope your leg heals. If it gets worse make sure to see a doctor bug bites can turn to cellulitis which needs an antibiotic. Nurse in me lol! Seems like traffic is heavy all times of the day everywhere now. Where are all these people going?!!! Waking up to see the sunshine makes me smile. Have a great week. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list of items to be thankful for! I lol'd at not making the bit picture bigger. I have not enlarged plenty of pics due to the subject being not super pleasant to look at! Glad your bit is healing. I was bit by a bee last summer that swelled up something fierce. I hadn't had a bee bite since I was child. I don't remember that kind of reaction. I looked it up and I definitely had a "moderate" reaction to the bite. I am much more wary of bees when I see them now though I want them in the garden (I was stung in my garden). Speaking of garden- WOW- yours looks great!! Have a wonderful Monday!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely list. I'm glad you made the wedding and am sorry about the bug bite. Your garden would make me happy too : ) Have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteHey Carla...I love your positive outlook on your joy list. I'm thankful that your bug bite is healing...those things can really cause a lot of pain. Your thankful list may be simple in words, but huge in reality. Thank you for this reminder to be thankful for even those things that might stress us.
ReplyDeleteYes! I love your positive outlook!!
ReplyDeleteGreat joy list! I had a bad reaction to a bug bite a few years ago and it got infected. I had to go on antibiotics. I'm glad yours is healing. Yay for making it to the wedding. How stressful is traffic when trying to get to a wedding!?! Love your garden too!
ReplyDeleteI smiled at the traffic jam story so glad you made it to the wedding! And your garden sounds like a true labor of love. Thank you for sharing these uplifting pieces of your world
ReplyDeleteOh, what kind of bug bit you, do you know? You can find thankfulness even through all the frustrations and bad things!!
ReplyDeleteOuch, I hope that bug bite is healing. I like the positive outlook, a good reminder!
ReplyDeleteI love this Carla! And you are so right on every point you made. Have a wonderful week! 🍉
ReplyDeleteThese are definitely things to bring joy to the heart. I'm glad you made it in time for the wedding. Sometimes those bee stings or creepy crawlers bite us and it hurts or itches after. I'm glad that it's healing now. Whenever I visit your "joy lists" posts, Carla, it brings me joy.......so that is one of my joys today. I am always reminded that there are little joys around us each and every day. : )

Your joy list is a great reminder that even in times of trouble there are things to be thankful for...glad you made the wedding and your bug bite is healing! Feel good!
ReplyDeleteThere are many little things that can bring joy for sure. So glad you made it to your wedding. Around here the squirrels leave walnuts everywhere and we have to pull them out. I did find one little oak tree this year as well sprouting up. I would have left it, however we have no room for a giant tree like that in our yard. Janice
