This and That

 Hello Friends,

A little bit of this and that coming up in photos ....

We received a surprise package from a family member who lives far away. Look at all the fun stamps on that package.

Cake!

We had family over for dinner. I made a 'celebrating late' birthday cake for my husband for our dessert.

Quiche... oh I do enjoy quiche.

Thinking spring and starting seeds.

We got caught in a pop up snow squall.

It is sap time!

We will cook down the sap into delicious maple syrup.

And someone would like a belly rub!

  1. I love a quiche too and have a recipe that always turns out. I planted a few seeds this weekend, kind of on a whim, so we'll see how it goes. I set them outside but then we had to bring them in as we got down close to freezing Saturday night. No pop up snow though, thankfully! Have a nice week!

  2. Lots of good things happening! Your cake is so pretty! I hope your husband had a wonderful birthday. Goodness, I hope your snowfall is over for the season- not sure how likely April snowfalls are for you. Those are a lot of stamps!! Have a great Monday!

  5. Morning Carla....looks like a busy time around your place. Isn't it so exciting to see the little green stems sprouting out of the soil? I planted Zinnias last week and yesterday they were popping up. I loved seeing them. The look on your face during the pop up snow squall is fun!!! A beautiful cake for a sweet celebration. I will take a slice right now if you don't mind. 🍰
