Montana State Fair - August 2011
Something different - Wool? Our boys were fascinated to see the bags and bags of wool judged at the Montana fair. |
Legos - Montana kids play with Lego's too! The boys loved looking at all the different designs. |
We liked how the folks displaying the entries put the designs up on egg cartons to display them a bit higher or offset each other. |
We loved this one! Wow! God Bless the U.S.A |
I loved this Nativity Set. I also liked the ribbon. |
Something to Squawk About! 2011 Montana State Fair |
Speaking of something to squawk about...I think I might stay out of this roosters way! What a handsome fella! |
Our friend Bobby Jean loved watching this! |
So much to see, learn and have hands on education at a fair. I think the fair is a great event to attend. What do you think? Do you have a favorite fair that you attend each year? |
What a fun post! The rooster photo is my favorite. What a handsome fella!! Are you going back to Montana this summer? My fair going is pretty much confined to the Barron County Fair, and not every year. My favorites are the barns with sheep, pigs, chickens, and bunnies. (sent from Kevin's computer cuz mine still isn't up and running. Grrrr.) Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time you had! I too love the wool and seeing crafts. Those Lego creations are really something special. We enjoy the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival...when we can make it. And our local fair is in August I think....here at home. Well, there are 3 events we try to make. Two are sheep Festivals and two are local fairs. I really enjoyed your post...thanks for taking us along..so to speak. Great post.....=> & too bad we can't get together for coffee on an overcast day. Would'nt it be fun!
