A Stroll in the Garden

May brings us armfuls of delight,
Bird - song, warm sun and gardens bright.

 Tasha Tudor

Our Spring weather has just been a blessing to us. It is so hard to stay inside after a cold Winter. Everything is coming alive in the garden and backyard.

Just drink in the beauty. Oh, how I wish I could send along the sweet smell too.

As I write this, the petals are already starting to fall. We call it Pink Snow.

Apple blossoms on our trees in the backyard.

Wishing you a beautiful week.
We will be dancing under the crab apple tree in the pink snow.

  4. Your yard is like Paradise! I think my favorite here is your first one, the jonquil. I have never seen one so FULL! And the sun just lights it up! Is the last one a Hyacinth? I would love to sit under one of your trees in the pink petal snow, and just laugh and delight in it.

  5. P.S. We loved The Wind In The Willows, and read it aloud to each other. We also have all of Beatrix Potter's stories.

  11. I love that "pink snow"! The flowers are really bursting these days! I finally have two tone daffodils now too. I planted some last fall. It's so fun to see where I planted them..I forgot all about them! I'm off to go plant the annuals we picked up yesterday. My pots need some serious attention!
