"Stop the car, I need to take a photo of this house...my little dream house." I say.
My husband slows and I take a photo of this charming house, that I would love to be mine.
It is so sweet and full of flower gardens.
My husband knows how much I love this property. It is not really on the way to our destination, but every once in awhile, he will take the out of the way route for me to see my house.
Look at that window up top. I do wonder. I would love a peek inside.
Do you have a dream house?
"My mother desires me to tell you that I am a very good housekeeper, which I have no reluctance in doing, because I really think it my peculiar excellence, and for this reason - I always take care to provide such things as please my own appetite, which I consider as the chief merit in housekeeping."
The Wit and Wisdom of Jane Austen
Letters to Cassandra November 17 - 18, 1798
What a cute house! I see why you like it. It's full of personality. And that's a wonderful quotation!! :-))
ReplyDeleteHi Carla, I would love to have a house like this. I can imagine reading by that upstairs window! My great aunt had a similar home, but with no upstairs. She grew pretty pastel irises and would provide a big vase full for Sunday church services.
ReplyDeleteKeep dreaming, someday it may be your. It's a cute little house.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
JB
It's adorable. I wonder what made them add the chimney, and if they found the stone on the property...
ReplyDeleteI like this, Carla. Serene home....
ReplyDeleteKeep your check book with you in case one day you see a for sale sign on this charmer! Ha ha about the check book.

ReplyDeleteCute house. Isn't it funny how we see a house and can see ourselves living in it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fairy tale of a house! I would want to stop and take photos too!
ReplyDeleteIt looks charming! Mine would be a beach cottage...right on the ocean! I was working on photos today of an old rock garage that I had my hubby pull over for me to take pics! How funny! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteUm I think that could be my dream home too.
ReplyDeleteThat house is so perfect. My dream house has a big front porch with a wooden swing on it.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meredith

ReplyDeleteI have dream houses! I already have my country house. Then there is the house in town. The house in the mountains. The house at the beach. I think that about covers all of them!
I know that desperate cry very well :-)
