The three legged wolf.
If you missed my story about our three legged wolf, read the post shared above.
Many asked to see the three legged wolf after reading his story of how he got a place on our Christmas tree. His back grey leg is missing starting at the knee down.
Joy List Monday
a weekly ritual
a reminder to stop and pay attention to the little beauties and graces that make life magical and to set aside time for gratitude each day
♫ fresh snow
♫ making new and old time favorite Christmas treats
♫ listening to Christmas music
♫ reading Advent each evening together as a family
♫ feeding the birds, squirrels and rabbits
♫ homemade ornaments
♫ enjoying preparing for Christmas
I love that story. It's nice to put a "face" with the"name." :D
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post. Your tree is beautiful! Stay warm and have a wonderful Monday.
ReplyDeleteFresh snow...we have some too. Somehow even the inside decorations look more festive with snow outside. ;)
ReplyDeleteAlways such a great list of joy!! We got fresh snow too!!
ReplyDeleteDarn it! I lost my comment when I went to read the 'wolf story'. lol
ReplyDeleteI hope the 3 legged wolf was not an unspoken comment on your serving abilities. lol
I love your JOY list and think you should turn it into a party. It is something we all need to do! xo Diana
I love your Joy list and how you share the advent with your family. It makes Christmas even more special when we prepare for it. Now my life seems a bit too busy but I remember my childhood and how much I prepared during Advent and when finally Christmas came it was just that more magical and special.

You have some lovely Christmas traditions. How do you think you would enjoy a Summer Christmas without snow?
ReplyDeleteI love to read your Monday rituals! It sounds like you have been making the most of the holiday season and the picture of your three legged wolf makes me smile! We had our first snow this past weekend as well, it was magical!
ReplyDeleteLove that you are enjoying this time of year. It goes so fast and I think your advice of slowing down and taking a few minutes to enjoy the simple things that are going on around us is wonderful. Enjoy enjoy Carla. Have a super great week.

Love your little snowman. That is one great list!
ReplyDeleteSo much to be thankful for at this time of year! Happy holidays sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteCarla, Advent devotions were my favorite part of Christmas when my kids were growing up. I think they loved them too. We had them every night, not just on Sundays. I miss those days so much--enjoy them now, Carla! It passes far too quickly.
ReplyDeleteI love the three legged wolf, and glad you posted a picture. I've always had a tender spot in my heart for little broken or thrown away toys and animals...I probably need to seek help. :) Carla, when I click on your email (contact you) nothing happens. How can I email you? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love your joy list and also the 3 legged wolf. I love animals of all kinds.
ReplyDeleteAll great ways to enjoy the Christmas season!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your Joy List Monday posts ... whichever day I read them!
