Daffodil
is the flower of the month for March. The daffodil goes by many
names...narcissus, jonquil, and paperwhites. But they are all daffodils!
In the language of flowers the daffodil represents;
regard, respect, unrequited love, sunshine, the sun shines when I am with you, chivalry, you're the only one
Somebunny needs a treat!
Have a lovely weekend my friends.

Happy Weekend Carla! Do you have any fun plans? I love daffodils too. I'm finally seeing some popping up in the garden now that the snow is gone!
ReplyDeleteOne of my faves too Carla. Have a great Friday and wonderful weekend. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThey really do gladden the heart! Daffs with jelly beans, now that is an unbeatable spring combination!
ReplyDeleteYay for Daffodils for brightening the month of March.
ReplyDeleteToday is sunny but windy. I'm looking forward to seeing blooming daffodils in my garden. Love the bunny bowl.
Hugs, Julia
Yes, it's yellow is a perfect color, for March!!!!
ReplyDeleteBut my favorite spring flower is the Violet. Not until I see them growing in the yard, do I feel it is realllllly spring. -smile-
Gentle hugs...
Oh, I love them, too. They have been out since early February here, and they remind me of my grandmother. She had several raised beds of daffodils. Have a super weekend!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, tulips have always been my favorite flower, but daffodils moved up much higher on the list when I learned that voles don't like them - now I plant a ring of them around each of my fruit trees, where they not only keep the rodents from girdling my trees, but wave cheerily each spring as well! :)
ReplyDeleteDafs are so pretty and they have a few different color combinations. I also like irises. Janice
ReplyDeleteI'm so looking forward to see our daffodils. And all the other beautiful things we have coming soon :)
ReplyDeleteOh Carla, if you love daffodils, you must go over to my friend, Anita's blog ( it's on my sidebar, listen and dance with the daffodils). I think you will enjoy it. I love that cute little bunny dish with the jelly beans. Your daffodils are so cheerful and lovely.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week, Carla.

Beautiful! ! Some are starting to come up, but nothing near a blossom! And snow...its coming back.
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty. Yellow is my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteLovely, sweet flower. Ours have been up and nodding in the warm breezes for a few weeks. I find them completely charming and so joy-inspiring. I particularly love paperwhites. So delicate but strong! Happy spring! xoxo
ReplyDeleteDaffodils are one of my favourite Spring-time flowers.
ReplyDeleteThey are such a cheerful colour.
All the best Jan
