Hometown Parade

 

The Little Garden That Could was in a parade last Sunday.

My husband and I made the flowers, bunting and signage to decorate our wagon.

The flowers are made from paper.

I made the bunting with scraps of fabric.

My husband did the the lettering on our sign.


 We filled zip lock snack bags with candy and a business card.

 

The theme for our festival in our village was "Happy Day's" ~ our float was all about happy!

    That has to be the cutest float ever, Carla!! I LOVE the paper flowers! The flowers here are blooming like crazy also, because of the spike in temps. The gardens are full of color! I was sorry to read about your friend passing away. How bittersweet that he passed on Memorial Day. I was away for a few days, so I had to catch up on your posts. I know it's been crazy hot...but I am loving this Summer!! Have a great weekend. xxoo

    Oh, how fun, Carla. Those paper flowers are delightful, love those. That was nice to fill snack bags with candy and your business card. I've always loved parades, especially ones from our hometown. You look cute in this picture by your float.....and happy. : )
