Our local museum, Pioneer Village Museum had a garden tea with Inga Witscher. Inga Witscher is the host of Around the Farm Table on Wisconsin Public Television. The Little Garden That Could donated a bouquet for the event. All of the ladies who wore garden hats to the event would have their name put in to win the bouquet after the program.
Here are a few photos of the bouquet I created and donated to the museum.
It was a lot of fun to create this bouquet for this special event.

How beautiful your creation is and how fun for you to see your beautiful flowers for this event. Grown with love and it shows in the beauty of each one of these flowers you hand picked from your garden. Beautiful sweet friend. xoxo Kris
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! Our friends just gave me zinnias, peppers and homemade pesto from their garden. I adore the zinnias!
ReplyDeleteThat's so nice of you to donate your flowers to the museum, Carla. They are so pretty. That photo of the inside of the sunflower is really cool. The garden tea sounds like something I'd like to go to. : )

Your bouquet looks amazing and that sunflower is so striking. The seed pattern is new to me. I've never seen one like this before. It really adds interest.
ReplyDeleteTake car and continue to have fun with your Little Garden That Could. You are just amazing.

Carla, that is the most beautiful bouquet!! You and the little garden that could are so sweet together and are going to be famous one of these days. :) Thank you visiting my blog...and about the succulents, I've never tried growing any until that one my neighbor gave me. It stayed in the unheated greenhouse all last winter. I just knew it would freeze but it didn't. It came out looking prettier than ever. Now the new little succelents I got from Ebay, I am not sure what to do for them this winter. I've got to do some reading. Hope you will get some of the cuttings from Ebay. The ones sent to me are really nice. Thank you. Love, Henny
ReplyDeleteYummy colors in your bouquet and they look so healthy! It's really nice to be involved with an experience like this.
