Have a great week my friends.
Ahhhhh just beautiful. Have a beautiful new week. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteHey Carla.....every picture looks so very peaceful. Beautiful picture of the sun shining through the trees. You all have some wonderful landscapes in your area. Our land here is full of trees, but very flat and our lakes and rivers are more muddy looking. I can see why you all enjoy kayaking and being out in nature. Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place! How peaceful and scenic. We’re hoping to do some camping soon as the weather cools down. I’m more comfortable with Fall camping than summer. It’s just too hot here in the summer for camping unless you hike up in the higher elevations and I’m just not confident I could do that anymore. I know I can’t carry a pack. So Fall is my favorite time!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the beauty of your area. We have such diverse geography here in the US. We are blessed.
Such wild and beautiful photos!! My favorite is the gorgeous sun reflected in the lake.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures Carla. How fun that Ernie tags along with you. We have copper colored falls her too in our U.P. They are called the Tahquamenon Falls. Janice
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenes in our beautiful state! Looks like Ernie is settling in nicely with your family and your adventures. :) Enjoy the remaining summer days!
ReplyDeleteCarla, you have shared some lovely photos with us of nature. I need to be out in nature too from time to time. What a cute picture of you and Ernie on the water. The Falls looks so peaceful and calming. And the 'golden hours' photo is just beautiful. I'm glad you got a chance to visit nature this month, my friend.

Beautiful photographs.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy these last days of August.
All the best Jan
I can't wait to get back outside and explore (It was 100 degrees here yesterday). The waterfalls are so pretty, and all your photos are making me smile this morning. Have y'all had any rain? I know you had mentioned lack of rain earlier this season.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, lovely area. It looks so peaceful and picturesque. I bet it's pretty in fall, too!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, what a beautiful serene place. I love that photo of Red Granite Falls!
ReplyDeleteOops, I don't know if my comment went thru. I love that photo of Red Granite Falls!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty pictures! I love a walk in the woods and if there's a waterfall at the end so much the better. We're putting in a small 'waterfall' in our back yard. I'm anxious to see how it turns out as it's still a bit hard to visualize. it will have a recirculating pump and they brought the liner in so hopefully progress is made this week.
ReplyDeleteYou have some really beautiful photos here. Looks like it was a great August!
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible time of kayaking and enjoying summer - the best kind of life is out on the kayak, so special to float along in the water! Those falls are gorgeous! Love enjoying these beautiful days of summer!
