Holly Jolly Christmas

Each December our little Village has a Christmas parade. It is always well attended and full of creative floats.

I love all the creativity.

I love all the twinkle lights!

Our friend Larry.. see his smile. He loves driving in the parade.

Our local garbage service .. I liked Oscar the Grouch waving out from the garbage can.

Here comes my favorite float of the night. The Cameron Fire Department had HUGE blow ups. Well as you can see they are getting away. No worries, people jumped up to help hold the extra ropes so Santa and his Elf would not move around so much.

And who is last to come.. Santa..riding on a firetruck.

To finish the night Santa sits for you to come visit and receive a bag full of treats.

 Merry Christmas!!

  1. Hi dear Carla. I see the Christmas parade keeps you young at heart. I have to admit that I haven't been to a Christmas parade since the kids were very young, ions ago. I've never like crowds and I think that's why I stayed home. Finding a good place to park the car also was a factor.
Canada Post has been on strike since November 15th and still the mail isn't moving.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  3. What fun! And you got great photos, considering it was dark. My favorites are the first two.

  9. So fun! I love the little village traditions. Our fire department drives Santa and Mrs. Claus through the neighborhood the weekend before Christmas and always stop at our house. It's been a treat for years!
