♥ a weekly ritual ♥
a reminder to stop and pay attention to the little beauties and graces that make life magical and to set aside time for gratitude each day.
♥ a warm home ... we woke to NEGATIVE 31 degrees on Saturday morning
♥ people who care ... we had a frozen car battery ... having those around us who are willing to help
♥ warm clothing ... thermals, jackets, hats, mittens, scarves
♥ the cozy feeling of the fireplace warming the room
♥ getting cozy with good reads and a hot drink
♥ pets to snuggle you on cold winter days
Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile.

And here I thought -18 below was bad. You had it worse. However it was so cold Tundra did not even want to be outside. Hope Ernie is doing alright. Janice
ReplyDeleteWe've been moaning about low temps in the teens and 20's here in Alabama. I cannot imagine how -31 feels!!
ReplyDeleteHi Carla! Happy Monday. Wishing you a fun and productive week ahead. Cheers, Ivy.
ReplyDeleteSweet photos.
ReplyDeleteWe are right there with you in temperature. Ugh!!! Can't wait for these next few months to come to an end. Hoping we get an early spring. Stay cozy and warm inside. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteBrr that's cold. My son said they had -24 on Saturday and then about 8-10 inches of snow last night. The schools are closed but he still has to get to work but has a 2 hour delayed start. Glad you got the car fixed, yay for good friends/neighbours. Stay safe and warm Carla x
ReplyDeleteThese are all great things in life. Wow Carla, that is really cold. Our 18 degrees is no comparison for what you guys are having. All my body wants to do is eat.. lol. Y'all stay safe.
ReplyDeleteLovely list, my friend. Such a good reminder to take time to think of the joy in our lives. Stay inside and warm and cozy.
ReplyDeleteOh Carla, below 31, you are one strong and courageous lady. I can imagine having car issues when it's that cold. Yes, warm sweaters and jackets makes all the difference with these cold temps. And your two pets who seem to be getting along so nicely. Bundle up and try to stay warm, Carla, and I'm thinking of you here on the other side of the states. love you, friend.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! It has been cold with you! I am glad you are managing to stay warm.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you are staying warm inside your house! Those temps are no joke. I'm glad you had people to help you out. Our family and friends have been so kind to us with our heat not working. It's nice to know people care :).
ReplyDeleteSeriously, that is so cold. Sorry about the frozen battery. You stay warm and enjoy snuggling with your pets.
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine how cold this is! We are minus 4 and that is bad enough. Did you have to get a new battery? Surely you are not going out in this weather??
