I am back.
We had a very nice time with family. I had a great time going blackberry picking with my mom. My mom is recovering from a very bad injury...so she did the driving and talking (to keep the bear away). I did the picking.

Looks WONDERFUL!! Sorry to hear about your mom, though. Glad the bears didn't getcha. I have not picked blackberries for years, but I remember how those briars are determined to reach out and grab and scratch! You earned that delicious jam.
