The Hummingbird or Sphinx Moth

Hurt no living thing: Ladybird, nor butterfly, Nor moth with dusty wing, nor cricket chirping cheerily, Nor grasshopper so light of leap, Nor dancing gnat, nor beetle fat, Nor harmless worms that creep.  Christina Rossetti

  1. We used to get Hummingbird moths at our house in Iowa. They loved our Four O'Clock flowers. Great foto.

  3. Great picture. I have had one of those the last couple of years. I did not know what it was called. I just called it a hummingbird moth.
