Hello,
Just a short post to let you all know I will be out of the office for a few days. I will be spending time with family and working on a few projects.
I wanted to share with you a few Easter traditions we enjoy. The boys love to hunt for our Resurrection Eggs. After the hunt we sit together open the eggs and share the Easter story.
Last year I used the eggs as table decorations for our extended family Easter gathering. We went around the table opening the eggs and reading the story before dessert. It was a fun way to bring the Easter story into our large family gathering.
Wishing you a wonderful week.
Happy Easter
Blessings to you and your family, Carla.

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of Resurrection Eggs although I've never done them. I scrolled down and saw your iced cinnamon biscuits but couldn't look for long since I started a detox diet on Monday. They looked so good!
That is a GREAT tradition, Carla. So often the reality of what Easter is gets buried in Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies. Blessings and I hope you have a wonderful week with your family. xo Diana

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice tradition telling the Easter story and having your boys search for eggs. Those purple flowers are gorgeous. You know, this post made me smile because Purple is my favorite color. Wishing you a Happy Easter, my new blog friend.

This is a wonderful tradition, Carla. Have a blessed Easter. I am writing this at 3:42 am because I drank coffee yesterday when my Bible study friends were here. :-) We received the most beautiful card in the mail yesterday. I'm going to hang it on the wall. You know that sheep are my favorite!! Thank you. :-)
